Our Fraud Protection Measures
It is unfortunate that we are living in times where people go to great lengths to scam and cheat others. In order to take steps to prevent fraud within our fundraising activity, every sanctioned and authorized fundraiser we have in progress will be listed here on this page. It is not uncommon for us to be running multiple types of fundraisers at once.
When we a doing a sales fundraiser like selling candy, popcorn, etc. our fundraising volunteers will have a brochure of the product or some other type of sales media. We are very particular about what our volunteers need to have with them when doing fundraisers.
Every fundraising packet we distribute to one of our fundraising volunteers will contain a letter on our official letterhead describing the purpose of the fundraising activity. If the volunteer can not provide a letter that appears similar to the example shown here, we implore you not to give them any money or credit card information.
Each fundraising volunteer should have a validation label on their sales material with a QR-Code. Scanning this code will take your mobile device browser to this page. If the sales material does not contain the label shown to the right, then this is not a valid fundraiser from our ministry and strongly implore you not to give them any money or credit card information.
We strongly encourage you to report any person representing this ministry that can not produce these countermeasures and/or is validated through this page to the local authorities and to our ministry as soon as possible.
