The Senior Pastor and Elders shall appoint the Treasurer of the Corporation. The term of office shall be three years and shall automatically renew for successive three-year terms until terminated as provided in this document. The Treasurer of the Corporation is accountable to the Senior Pastor and Elders to assure that the following duties are properly discharged.
- To oversee all ministry funds and deposit those funds in a reliable banking institution approved by the Elders and Finance Team.
- To see that all bills are paid by properly authorized means at the request of the Finance Team or Senior Pastor.
- To see that accurate records are kept of all receipts and disbursements.
- To prepare a monthly financial report and an annual report.
Candidates must have competent skills in acceptable accounting practices.
Candidates must have competent computer skills such as ability to use and create spreadsheets, reports, receipts, and electronic payment and accounting software.
Candidates must be willing to submit to background investigation and criminal record screening.
